After an initial long wait for food and having to send something back the manager came over without us asking and was very apologetic and sorted out the situation. We were given deserts and a rather hefty discount. He spent some time chatting to is and was really nice and friendly. A great visit with some great customer service. Will be back next time I visit Manchester.

Doghouse Hotel is my 6th hotel review in Manchester and one I’ve wanted to stay in for a while. The rooms themselves are really good and actually very fairly priced which for a Manchester hotel is very hard to find nowadays. The minibar is the best stocked minibar I’ve had in a hotel before, plenty of options and they’re all really good quality products. Very fairly priced also. The hotdogs, once again super fairly priced for the quality of food you are receiving (as discussed with staff) there is nowhere stating what actually is included on the hotdog, that needs changing. This only the 2nd hotel that I’ve found that doesn’t have a smart TV, seeing that the channels were very standard and some channels weren’t working, I found that to be quite bland… the soundbar was also not allowing me to connect my phones audio either. I haven’t noticed and didn’t discuss with staff but if you don’t close your curtains, it seems like neighbouring buildings could very easily look into your room, I’m not sure if they’re one way windows or not… also the left side window didn’t open, I tried using the AC to cool my room but I wasn’t too sure how to use it or if it was actually cooling the room. The staff thankfully remotely turned the temp down. The vinyl player and guitar in the room is such a nice touch, they’re quite fun to mess around with. Not sure why most hotels don’t carry hot chocolate pouches but I’m noticing that becoming a trend. The shower and bathroom were excellent, very comfortable and relaxing. The bed was also super relaxing, one of the better hotel beds I’ve ever stayed in and the wireless chargers on the bedsides is a really really nice touch. Finally and as discussed with staff but it has to be mentioned because to me it is a breach of security, even if it’s because of the frame as discussed with staff, the hotel doors are not suitable for purpose, not only is it not stated anywhere, you should still never have to close a hotel door behind you, the door does close behind you but if you do not pull it shut the electric strike doesn’t kick in, leaving the door unlocked and able to push the door open.

We had a two night stay and we would recommend this hotel for people visiting Manchester. The location is great, and close to many shops and amenities. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are great and fully stocked with everything you need for a short break.

Check out the full review over on the Youtube Channel Stayed 1 night in the Brewmaster Suite. I must say brewdog have nailed the hotel and know there audience. This isnt 5 star luxury but its a fantastic stay. For starters you get a free drink voucher per person and £15pp off a meal in the restaurant. When i stayed Octoberfest was still on and i also got an octoberfest free beer voucher as well. All in all i had a meal and 2 beers for £4.99! fantastic. The hotel also has a free water station and also a free pick and mix station as well. Room are comfortable and quirky, with neon signs, guitars, record players and plenty of beer inside. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was a decent size as well, everything in the room worked as it should. Would happily stay here again. Perfect if your on a special occasion, stag/hen do or even a business trip.

We had an amazing stay at the BrewDog Doghouse Manchester! From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. The hotel itself is incredible—beautifully designed rooms filled with thoughtful touches. Having Hazy Jane on tap in the room and enjoying a shower beer was such a fun and indulgent experience! Every member of staff we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. We booked the Topdog package, which included our evening meal and a Beer School session—both of which were fantastic. A special shout-out to Ben, who truly went above and beyond to make our evening memorable. He was not only incredibly knowledgeable as our Beer School guide, but also made us feel so well looked after. Thank you, Ben! The food was absolutely top-notch—delicious and of amazing quality. And of course, you can't go wrong with any of the BrewDog beers on offer. Thank you to the entire team for creating such a unique and wonderful experience. We can’t wait to return!
